Robert Half is currently recruiting a Credit Manager for VF Corporation's international head office in Nottinghamshire.

VF Corporation is the worlds leading apparel company and represent brands such as Lee, Wrangler, Eastpak, JanSport, The North Face and Vans. The Nottingham site offers a truly European working environment.

The Role

VF Corporation is recruiting for a multi-lingual credit manager. The successful applicant will be fluent in Dutch and English and will have a proven credit control experience. The role will involve mentoring and supervising a small team and so would be a great step into credit management. The successful applicant will be confident on the telephone, able to manage difficult situations, diplomatic and able to juggle conflicting tasks.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Compliance with existing policies & procedures    
  • Ensuring of individual customer support in difficult matters and independent management of all incidental phone calls and correspondence
  • Checking and distribution of credits held and overdue lists   
  • Staff leadership and substitution of manager when manager is absent 
  • Ensuring of appropriate storage of all relevant documents
  • Regular checking of balances; reports    
  • Assisting manager in creation and optimisation of work flows
  • Creation of statistics    
  • Vocational adjustment and training of employees
  • Encouragement of communication within one department as well as between different departments. 

Salary & Benefits

£20,000 plus 25 days holiday and healthcare. The organisation offers a modern working environment and free on site parking.
